Disclosure of Procedures: EBL provides transparent guidelines regarding how data is processed, how profiles are consulted, and under what conditions a report may be submitted or contested.

Informed Participation: All users must be made aware of their responsibilities and the legal boundaries of the service. EBL emphasizes the need for informed, responsible use.

3. Confidentiality

Protection of Data: All data accessed or submitted through the platform is treated as confidential and protected under applicable laws, including GDPR.

Continuing Obligation: The duty of confidentiality survives the end of any subscription or user relationship with EBL.

4. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Legal Adherence: EBL's operations comply with all applicable laws, including GDPR, defamation laws, commercial practices regulations, and consumer protection rules.

Lawful Reporting: Any submission of a report must be based on a legally valid, overdue, and undisputed claim, accompanied by appropriate documentation and, where applicable, the debtor's prior consent.

Whistleblower Protection: EBL encourages the reporting of unlawful or unethical activity related to its services and provides protection to whistleblowers acting in good faith.

Equitable Treatment: EBL promotes equal treatment regardless of nationality, size of business, economic status, or geographical location.

No Arbitrary Use: The platform must not be used to target individuals or businesses based on personal grievances or competitive motives.

Due Diligence: Users are responsible for ensuring that all information entered into the platform is accurate, lawful, and based on verified facts.

Documented Actions: Every report must be supported by verifiable evidence (e.g. signed contract, invoice, final reminder), and users must retain this documentation for potential audits or disputes.

Platform Accountability: EBL accepts responsibility for its operational decisions and platform policies and seeks continuous improvement in line with legal developments.

7. Professionalism

Competence: EBL fosters ongoing development of user understanding regarding ethical debt recovery and data protection obligations.

Respectful Conduct: All interactions with debtors, clients, and partners must be respectful, non-confrontational, and devoid of harassment or coercion.
